This Blog Style Will Do
I think I can settle for this layout. Its not too bad and have even fiddled with the HTML text to get it right - that was scary. I will probably change it again sooner rather than later but at least the colours arent as striking and blinding as they were before.

I like it.
I really love the white background (that's why I have it myslef too)- it also makes the page load much faster.
and the green is fresh.
I inspired you I hope! I much prefer the white background - I always go for a pale background as it makes it easier to read. Doesn't affect the loading time - that's the sidebar stuff & the header. Really cute banner, well done!
I've been wanting to make a few changes on mine too, but it all seems a too daunting at the moment ;) Agree your green/white combom is nice and fresh!
